Mod Taz — @tazatouilles (he/him)For Gotham City: Unmasked, Taz will be taking over as head mod, artist mod, and finance/shipping mod. He was the head moderator of The Buddy System zine, a project dedicated to The Penumbra Podcast, where he managed their social media, art direction, and finance/shipping. Taz has also had plenty of experience contributing to fan projects in the past. He is beyond excited about this book, as he is an avid Batman fan and it has been his dream to lead a fan project based in the universe!Mod Venus — @vamplrella (she/they)For Gotham City: Unmasked, Venus will be taking over as the social media mod. This is their first time moderating a fanbook, but she regularly works with creators and moderators when she creates her own work! She’s been a fan of DC comics for as long as she can remember, and they’re beyond excited to be able to assist in fully realizing peoples’ dream works!Mod Cindy — @cyngharris (she/they)For Gotham City: Unmasked, Cindy will be taking over as the formatting and design mod. This is her first time moderating a fanbook, but she has participated in several zines and anthologies before, and she works freelance professionally in lettering and book design. For Gotham City: Unmasked, Sam will be taking over as the writing mod. She was head mod of the CALZINE and is currently one for The Calorum Cookbook, fanzines for Dimension 20, and she's been contributing to and running fandom events for years. She's an avid comic fan of both Marvel and DC, writing and drawing for both fandoms, and is to this day still doing her best to disentangle the amazing (and confusing) continuity of the batfam!

Gotham City: Unmasked is a fanbook focusing on the origin stories of our beloved characters from the Batman universe. This book serves to highlight where they come from and what makes them who they are. The full nature of this book is a physical and digital release, with a split-profit model.The book will be in B5 format (approx. 7 in x 10 in). No explicit sexual content will be permitted in this project, however, blood/gore/violence or suggestive themes will be allowed, with added evaluation by the moderators.Each contributor will be asked to either write or illustrate for one character in relation to their origin story and upbringing. We are aware that there are many interpretations of these characters' origins and by no means are we asking you to encapsulate all of them. We also encourage depictions of the characters out of costume.
